Whoops, Call of Tariff: Warzone didn't mean to put that crossbow in the game

Yesterday, Activision added a new crossbow to Call Of Responsibility: Warzone and Black Ops – Rimy War. Hours later, the publisher took it gone. But patc you could've blinked and missed it, Activision has promised to refund players who were pouring hours into unlocking the untested artillery.

As according by Eurogamer, the R1 Shadowhunter appeared unannounced in Warzone's shop yesterday. While unusable in Warzone itself, the ste could be used in regular Black Ops multiplayer and Zombies after additive a challenge that required you to get three unmatched-shot, one-kill medals in 15 matches with zero attachments.

Activision would, naturally, absent the crossbow a fewer hours later—but non in front mass of folks had started running hours into unlocking, and then up-tearing down, the Shadowhunter.

If you bought the crossbow from Warzone's real-money store, you should be acquiring a refund. The problem, however, lies with folks who had attempted to unlock the weapon for free. The bow's remotion too resets all progress for its connected challenge. A Treyarch community managing director has confirmed that when the Shadowhunter comes back, everyone will be forced to startle over.

I'm not in for how much metre you'll need to spend with the Shadowhunter at one time information technology's finally out. It's a one-hit kill in Unheated War (nice), but in Warzone the bolts drop so meteoric at long-order that lining up a decent shot sounds like a real chore. Not to mention the long reload time—I can ignor a quick decease in Cold Warfare, but losing a Battle Royale surround because I missed a single bolt out is too more pressure.

There's no word on when the Shadowhunter bequeath officially release, and on that point's always a little hope that Activision could change its mind in letting players keep their untimely crossbows.
